Dance accessories

Dance workshops, ballet classes, private lessons, body expression classes, dance classes in general require that you have some dance equipment at your disposal. But nothing very cumbersome.

First of all, you have to choose your clothes. These must be adapted to the type of dance you are going to learn. Prefer clothes that fit the body rather than loose clothing. Loose clothes can hinder your movements. For example, you can choose a leotard and leggings. This is the most classic dance outfit and the most used in sports in general.

You will also need to acquire a bag in which to carry all your dance accessories. You can easily find them in sports shops or on the internet. You can also look in second-hand shops.

The best thing to do is to go to your first dance class in simple clothes and ask your dance teacher for advice. He will be able to guide you towards the best choice of clothes but also shoes and other accessories.

For a dance opening, a dance show, a dance party, the occasions do not always lend themselves to the same outfit. Some dances, such as ballroom dances for example, are often danced in dresses and heels for women.
